Title
Approve the Seventh Amendment to the consultant services agreement with Provost and Pritchard Consulting Group, Inc., to extend the agreement term from January 15, 2022 to January 31, 2023 for Engineering Design and Feasibility Analysis for Removal of 1,2,3-Trichloropropane from Groundwater Extraction Wells. This amendment does not add any project costs to the contract. (Citywide).

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that City Council approve the Seventh Amendment to the consultant services agreement (Agreement) with Provost and Pritchard Consulting Group, Inc. (Provost and Pritchard), to extend the Agreement term from January 15, 2022 to January 31, 2023, for design completion and to allow for the consultant's continued availability while the Department of Public Utilities pursues grant funding for construction of wellhead treatment improvements that have been designed through the Engineering Design and Feasibility Analysis for Removal of 1,2,3-Trichloropropane from Groundwater Extraction Wells (Project); and authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the Seventh Amendment on behalf of the City of Fresno (City).
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This Project is funded through a State of California (State) Proposition 1 Groundwater Planning Grant (Grant), which was accepted by the City on August 18, 2018 and is currently being amended by the State to adjust the work completion date to July 31, 2022. The Seventh Amendment to the Agreement with Provost and Pritchard will adjust the Agreement term for completion from January 15, 2022 to January 31, 2023, in order to allow for completion of all grant related work.
