RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council approve the Sixth Amendment to the professional consultant agreement with Stantec Architecture, Inc. (Stantec), to incorporate additional design due to differing as-built conditions, future facility needs, and project grant and compliance requirements for the Department of Transportation/Fresno Area Express Facility Improvement Project in the amount of $19,467.00 and authorize the Director of Transportation or designee to execute all related documents.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Department of Transportation (FAX) seeks the approval of a contract amendment for Stantec to incorporate revisions in the scope of work associated with the FAX Facility Improvement Project design. This amendment will allow for revisions to the project design that provide for a larger photovoltaic (PV, solar) system to be constructed via a separate contract and for the upsizing of the currently planned electrical switchgear to allow for future equipment expansion at the FAX Fuel Island and Annex building. This amendment is in the amount of $19,467.00 and brings the total Agreement value to $1,359,548.99.
