Actions pertaining to the Traffic Signal Modification Project at Perrin Avenue and Liberty Hill Road (Council District 6)
1. ***RESOLUTION - 26th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No. 2018-157 appropriating $353,900 for the installation of left turn phasing at the intersection of Liberty Hill Road and Perrin Avenue (Requires 5 affirmative votes) (Subject to Mayor's veto)
2. Approve an Improvement and Reimbursement Agreement with Clovis Unified School District for the traffic Signal Modification at the Intersection of E. Perrin Avenue and Liberty Hill Road

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the 26th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No. 2018-157 to appropriate $353,900 for City design and construction costs for a traffic signal modification project at the intersection of Perrin Avenue and Liberty Hill Road; and approve an Improvement and Reimbursement Agreement with Clovis Unified School District for the project and authorize the Public Works Director or his designee to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Clovis Unified School District has worked in partnership with Council District 6 and Public Works staff to develop a cooperative project for the traffic signal modification to add protected left turn phasing at the intersection of Perrin Avenue and Liberty Hill Road. With the approval of the Council, the City will receive twenty-five percent (25%) of the total project costs, up to $100,000, from Clovis Unified School District and proceed with the design completion and construction bidding.
