Discussion and actions pertaining to the Civic Learning Partnership’s civic engagement award

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Youth Commission draft and approve a resolution encouraging the City Council to pass a resolution committing to the recognition of youth organizations at the city level.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Civic Learning Partnership wants a potential award to be created at the city level to be given to youth organizations that are doing a great job in engaging youth civically. In order for the award to be created, the Youth Commission’s resolution would encourage a commitment from the City Council to hold a space to provide the awards.
