RECOMMENDATIONS

Staff recommends that City Council approve the First Amendment to the Professional Consultant Services Agreement (Agreement), with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., (Consultant) to extend the duration of the Agreement from November 1, 2019 to June 1, 2020, to provide a condition assessment of capital equipment and components at the Fresno-Clovis Regional Wastewater Reclamation Facility and Sewer Lift Stations (Project); and authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the Amendment on behalf of the City of Fresno (City).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On March 21, 2019, the City entered into an Agreement with Consultant in the amount of $245,606 to prepare a condition assessment of capital equipment for the Project. Prior to start of the Consultants' work a new equipment asset register was to be developed by City staff. Due to delays in development of the asset register, the Agreement needs to be extended to June 1, 2020, to retain the Consultant's services through the completion of the Project.
