RECOMMENDATIONS

Staff recommends the City Council adopt the attached 44th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution (AAR) No. 2020-159 and approve of an agreement for Professional Engineering Services with North Coast Engineering Inc. in the amount of $97,997, with a $5,000 contingency, for the design and construction support phases of the Chestnut Avenue Overlay Project from Kings Canyon Road to Butler Avenue and authorize the Public Works Director or designee to sign the agreement on the City's behalf.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Chestnut Avenue Overlay Project between Kings Canyon Road and Butler Avenue addresses preservation of existing infrastructure by repairing pavement that is in poor condition based on pavement management analysis. The project will grind, overlay and spot reconstruct pavement along Chestnut Avenue from Kings Canyon Road to Butler Avenue.
