RECOMMENDATION

 

Staff recommends Council adopt the 4th Amendment to Position Authorization Resolution No. 2021-160 authorizing the addition of one full-time position in Council City Support Division. 

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 

The proposed amendment will add one full-time position to the Council City Support Division.

 

BACKGROUND

 

Council City Support Division requires an additional staff member for operational purposes. 

 

ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS

 

This is not a “project” for the purpose of CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15378.

 

LOCAL PREFERENCE

 

The City’s Local Preference Ordinance (FMC 4-108) does not apply - this is not a purchase of services, materials, supplies or equipment, or a competitive bidding solicitation.

 

FISCAL IMPACT

 

There is no impact to the General Fund or to any Ratepayers of the City of Fresno from this item.  Approval of this item will not compromise the Department’s ability to meet or exceed its rating agency oriented key financial metrics, including debt service coverage ratio well above 2.0 times, low airline rates and high liquidity in FY 2021 and beyond.
