Consideration of an appeal of the Director’s action approving Site Plan Review Application No. S-15-125 and related Environmental Assessment No. S-15-125, filed by Phyllis Brotherton of Valley Public Television, Inc., represented by Joseph Guagliardo of Comprehensive Planning Associates, for property located on the east side of Van Ness Avenue, south of Calaveras Street.
1. ADOPT Environmental Assessment No. S-15-125, dated May 18, 2016, a determination that the proposed project is exempt from California Environmental Quality Act through a Class 32 Categorical Exemption.
2. DENY the appeal and UPHOLD the action of the Development and Resource Management Department Director approving Site Plan Review Application No. S-15-125 requesting authorization to construct a 26-space parking lot and solar shade structures for use by Valley Public Television, Inc. located directly adjacent to the existing facility, subject to the following:
