2022 at 9:00 A.M.  
The special session ran concurrently with the regular session meeting.

CONSENT CALENDAR  
***RESOLUTION - Suspending the Labor Management Act for 14 days

On motion of Councilmember Bredefeld, seconded by  
Councilmember Chavez, the CONSENT CALENDAR was hereby  
adopted by the following vote:

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION  
***Adopt a successor Memorandum of Understanding between the City of  
Fresno and the Fresno Police Officers Association (FPOA) for Unit 4 -  
Non-Supervisory Police (Subject to Veto).  
There was no staff presentation on the above item, no public comment, and  
no Council discussion.  
APPROVED  
On motion of Vice President Maxwell, seconded by Council President  
Esparza, the above Action Item was APPROVED. The motion carried  
by the following vote:

Fresno and the Fresno Police Officers Association (FPOA) for Unit 9 -  
Police Management (Subject to Veto).  
There was no staff presentation on the above item, no public comment, and  
no Council discussion.  
Director Miller read the following changes to the staff report into the record:  
under the Management Leave header, the leave change should read, "82 to  
90 hours" not "82 to 100 hours," and; under the Health Reimbursement  
Arrangement (HRA) header, the first bullet point reading, "Language  
updated to reflect new Special HRA Vacation Bank," should be stricken.  
APPROVED AS AMENDED  
On motion of Councilmember Maxwell, seconded by Vice President  
Esparza, that the above Action Item be APPROVED AS AMENDED. The  
motion carried by the following vote:

Bredefeld  
City Council and Mayor Dyer held a press conference at 5:00 P.M. regarding the  
approval of the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Fresno and the  
Fresno Police Officers Association (FPOA). The press conference concluded at 5:30  
P.M.
