CONSENT CALENDAR

Upon call, for public comment on all Consent, Contested Consent and

Closed Session items, the following members of the public addressed

Council: Desiree Ledesma, Olga Via, Hester Hensley, Deshunna Monay

Ricks, Diane Glenn, Laura Berto, Sarah Pilibos, Paul Jamushian,

Guadalupe Lupe Gutierz Jr., BT Lewis, Marshall Moushigian, and Nikki

Real.

RESOLUTION - To Begin The Process To Remove The “Cesar Chavez

Boulevard” Street Signs In Support Of The Stand With Farmworkers

Integrity Act.

ID 26-376

During approval of the agenda, Interim City Clerk Aller announced the

resolution is Subject to Mayoral veto and should have three asterisks before

the title and (Subject Mayor’s Veto) should be listed at the end of the title.

The supplement for this item reflects the changes in the staff report.

Prior to the Item being heard Councilmembers Arias and Vang were added

as co-sponsors.

Upon call, the following members of the public addressed Council: Desiree

Ledeszma, Olga Valle, Hester Hensley, Dr. D'shauna Monay Ricks, Diane

Glenn, Lorna Benethe, Sarah Pilibos, Paul Jamushian, Guadalupe, BT

Lewis, Marshall Moushigan, Nikki Real.and Mars Santos.

Council discussion was held.

RESOLUTION 2026-42 ADOPTED

On motion of Councilmember Karbassi, seconded by Councilmember

Arias, that the above Action Item be ADOPTED. The motion carried by

the following vote:

The Council meeting adjourned from open session at 4:23 P.M.

The above minutes were approved by unanimous vote of the City Council during the

April 9, 2026, regular meeting
