RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the 41st Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No. 2023-185 to appropriate $4,077,500 for previously approved capital improvement projects in the Public Works Department.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Staff recommends the Council adopt a resolution approving the re budget of previously approved Transformative Climates Community (TCC) funded capital projects so that the appropriations in FY 2024 are sufficient to cover anticipated expenditures. The recommended resolution will appropriate $4,077,500 in funding to the current fiscal budget year.

BACKGROUND

Annually, the Department reviews its capital project appropriations and recommends adjustments to complete anticipated program partner payments during the year. This review ensures that adequate appropriations are in place to complete the programs and projects given the most recent information.

Based on a review of the TCC capital project budgets, four (4) project budgets require adjustment to meet the planned expenditures for the fiscal year.

* TCC EOC Partnership $ 540,000

* TCC GRID Solar Single-Family $ 132,000

* TCC Yosemite Village $ 1,300

* TCC FCC Satellite Campus $3,4704,200

The recommended Resolution would amend the appropriations within the identified capital projects to allow for the completion of program partner payments this fiscal year. To meet the projected funding requirements, $4,077,500 in funding must be appropriated....
