RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve an amendment to the consultant services agreement with Blair Church & Flynn (BCF) consulting engineers, a California corporation, of Clovis, California, in the amount of $36,900 for professional engineering services for the design of sewer rehabilitation and replacement projects in Glenn, N Street, Tuolumne, Van Ness, Merced, and Thorne Avenues and authorize the Director, or designee, to sign the agreement on behalf of the City.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Department of Public Utilities (DPU), Wastewater Management Division has a design services contract in place with BCF of Clovis, California, for the design of sewer rehabilitation and replacement projects in Glenn, N Street, Tuolumne, Van Ness, Merced, and Thorne Avenues in the amount of $182,200. After the design services contract was awarded, DPU identified a need to implement design and scope changes to the project to better coordinate this work with other active projects in the Downtown Area. DPU staff is seeking to amend the contract in the amount of $36,900 with BCF of Clovis, California, to better coordinate the projects.
