RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that City Council approve the First Amendment to the Professional Consultant Services Agreement in the amount of $18,437 with Provost and Pritchard Engineering Group, Inc., for modifications to the pipeline design of the Recycled Water Transmission Main along Madison Avenue, Valentine Avenue, Whitesbridge Avenue, and Brawley Avenue; and authorize the Director of Public Utilities or designee to execute the amendment of behalf of the City of Fresno.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On October 6, 2017, the City of Fresno and Provost and Pritchard Engineering Group, Inc., entered into an Agreement for consulting engineering work associated with the Recycled Water Transmission Main along Madison Avenue, Valentine Avenue, Whitesbridge Avenue, and Brawley Avenue for a total amount of $420,307. The Department of Public Utilities desires to design additional recycled water main improvements along Madison Avenue, east of Valentine Avenue for approximately 1,300 feet and along Whitesbridge Avenue, west of Valentine Avenue for approximately 1,300 feet to support recycled water connections to proposed residential developments.
