RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Fresno City Council adopt the 17th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution (AAR) No. 2024-122 to appropriate $100,000 to Code Enforcement pursuant to the CalRecycle Tire Cleanup Grant and authorize the City Attorney or designee to execute all grant related documents on behalf of the City.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This item amends the Fiscal Year 2025 budget by transferring the funding appropriation from the Revenue Account to the Tire Cleanup Grant Account.
BACKGROUND
City Attorney’s Office, Code Enforcement Division, has been awarded ongoing grant funding by CalRecycle to supplement waste tire cleanup efforts. Staff is seeking to reallocate $100,000 from the Revenue Account to the Tire Grant Account.
ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS
Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378, this item is not a project for the purposes of CEQA.
LOCAL PREFERENCE
Local preference is not applicable.
FISCAL IMPACT
