RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Fresno City Council adopt the 37th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution (AAR) No. 2023-185 to appropriate $38,700 to Code Enforcement pursuant to the Tire Grant and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all grant related documents on behalf of the City.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This item amends the Fiscal Year 2024 budget by transferring the funding appropriation from the Revenue Account to the Tire Grant Account.
BACKGROUND
City Attorney’s Office, Code Enforcement Division, has been awarded ongoing grant funding by Cal Recycle to supplement waste tire enforcement efforts. Staff is seeking to reallocate $38,700 from the Revenue Account to the Tire Grant Account.
ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS
Pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15378, this item is not a project for the purposes of CEQA.
LOCAL PREFERENCE
Local preference is not applicable.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funding for this item comes from the General Fund, as appropriated under AAR No. 2023-185.
