RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council Approve the Third Amendment to the Service Agreement between the City of Fresno and Sculpture Conservation Studio in the amount not-to-exceed $100,000 to provide conservation services to artwork located at Fulton Street, Convention Center, and Mariposa Mall for a total agreement amount not-to-exceed $352,000 and extending the term one year through June 30, 2027.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Sculpture Conservation Studio was awarded a service agreement by Council on October 31, 2024, for art conservation services for artwork located on Fulton Street, Convention Center, and Mariposa Mall. This agreement is set to expire on June 30, 2026. General Services Department is now seeking to amend the agreement to increase the budget to encompass 24 of the 25 artwork pieces and extend the contract through June 30, 2027. General Services will return to Council in FY 2027 to add the one remaining artwork to the agreement for conservation. General Services shall utilize funding appropriated for Fulton Street, Convention Center, and Mariposa Mall artwork maintenance in the Department of Public Works adopted FY2026 budget.
BACKGROUND
