Body
RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the 597th Amendment to Master Fee Schedule Resolution No. 80-420 to establish new sports field reservation, tournament, vendor, admission, and snack bar fees for Granite Park within the Parks, After School, Recreation, and Community Services Department (PARCS).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The attached Resolution to adopt the 597th Amendment to Master Fee Schedule Resolution No. 80-420 will add new fees for sports field reservations, tournaments, vendors, admission, and snack bar operations at Granite Park. Revenue generated from these fees will support ongoing operations and maintenance at the facility.

BACKGROUND

Granite Park is a City-owned facility designated as a Special Use park and includes soccer fields, baseball fields, a batting cage, concessions, and restrooms. Seasonal sporting events and tournaments such as soccer, baseball, and softball are held at the facility throughout the week.

The proposed fee structure will generate revenue to support the continued operation and maintenance of the park. Additionally, the PARCS Department will provide recreational programming, including but not limited to seniors, adult sports, youth sports and adaptive recreation. The Department intends to offer and expand these programs at Granite Park to address the growing needs and interests of the community.
