RESOLUTION - Of Intention to Annex the Territory Known as Assessor's Parcel Number 578-010-11 as Annexation No. 25 to the City of Fresno Community Facilities District No. 9 and to Authorize the Levy of Special Taxes (southwest corner of East Copper and North Chestnut Avenues); and setting the public hearing for April 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. (Council District 6)

RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution of Intention to annex the territory known as Assessor's Parcel Number 578-010-11 as Annexation No. 25 to the City of Fresno Community Facilities District No. 9 ("CFD No. 9").
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The landowner has petitioned the City of Fresno ("City") to have Assessor's Parcel Number 578-010-11 annexed to CFD No. 9 to provide funding for the operation and reserves for maintenance ("Services") to certain above ground public improvements along the frontages of East Copper and North Chestnut Avenues. These improvements shall include the concrete curb and gutters, valley gutter, curb ramps and sidewalks, and street lighting as associated with this Multi-Family Housing Development. The cost for these Services for the public improvements totals $1,329.00 annually for fiscal year 2017-2018. Annexation No. 25 is located entirely in the Fresno City Limits. The Resolution of Intention begins the process, sets the required public hearing for April 19, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., and defines the steps required to complete the annexation.
