RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council approve Contract Change Order No. 03 with Harris Development Corporation, dba HBC Enterprises of Clovis, California, in the amount of $0.00 with forty-seven (47) additional working days to account for delays associated with design changes and project site access for the Security Fence Improvements at Pump Stations 144, 165, and 174 Project, and authorize the Capital Projects Department Director, or designee, to sign Contract Change Order No. 03 on behalf of the City of Fresno.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On June 12, 2025, a Contract was awarded in the amount of $734,497.85 to Harris Development Corporation, dba HBC Enterprises of Clovis, California, for the Security Fence Improvements at Pump Stations 144, 165, and 174 Project to construct 10-1/2 ft high security fencing and access gates at Pump Stations 144, 165, and 174.
City Council approval of Contract Change Order No. 03 in the amount of $0.00, with forty-seven (47) additional contract working days, will formally adjust the Contract Time to account for delays associated with design revisions, site access restrictions, and operational coordination encountered during construction.
