RECOMMENDATION

 

Approve a bill amending Ordinance No. 2004-88 to allow a flat monthly stipend for vehicle and general and miscellaneous expense allowances. 

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 

Ordinance No.  2004-88 expressly allows for a monthly allowance for vehicle usage and general and miscellaneous expenses in accordance with Exhibit A attached thereto. This ordinance will amend Ordinance No. 2004-88 to allow the election of a flat monthly stipend for vehicle and general and miscellaneous expense allowances.  The purpose of this amendment is to provide clarification consistent with current practices.
