RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council approve the Third Amendment to the Consultant Services Agreement with Provost & Pritchard Engineering Group, Inc. in the amount of $76,243, bringing the total contract amount to $1,755,134, with $33,609 of remaining contingency, for additional professional engineering services required for the design of plans and general construction documents for the River West Eaton Trail Extension Project and authorize the Capital Projects Director or designee to sign the Third Amendment to Agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City of Fresno (City) and Provost & Pritchard Engineering Group, Inc. (Consultant) have been progressing with the design of the River West Eaton Trail Extension Project (Project). As the design progresses in the Construction Documents (90% design) phase, it has been identified that a means of accessible pedestrian connection from the Palm Avenue public street right-of-way to the Palm Avenue trail access is needed beyond the original scope of the Consultant Services Agreement (Agreement).
