RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends City Council approve the First Amendment to the Consultant Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. (Consultant) of Fresno, California, to extend the term of the Agreement from December 31, 2024, to December 31, 2026, without changing the compensation of the Agreement, for the engineering design services for the Wellhead Treatment Improvements at Pump Station 101A (PS 101A) Project (Project) and authorize the Capital Projects Director or designee to sign the First Amendment to the Consultant Services Agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On June 10, 2022, the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) entered into a Consultant Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc. of Fresno, California, in the amount of $233,200 with a contingency amount not to exceed $20,000 to provide engineering design services for the Project. Due to a procurement requirement, an extension to the Consultant Services Agreement is now necessary to retain the Consultant's services through Project completion. Funding for this Project is included in the Fiscal Year 2025 Water Enterprise Fund.
