Staff recommends Council approve the award of a Requirements Contract for landscape maintenance services for locations maintained by the General Services Department, Fire Department, and Police Department in an amount not to exceed $285,000.00 per year plus annual CPI adjustments to BrightView Landscape Services, Inc. of Fresno, California for one year with five optional one-year extensions.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The General Services Department, Purchasing Division, issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for landscape maintenance services for locations maintained by the Fire, Police, and General Services Departments.
Following an evaluation process, including interviews and a Best and Final Offer, BrightView Landscape Services, Inc. was determined to provide the best value for the RFP. Approval of this contract will ensure continued landscape maintenance services across City facilities and provide consistent service delivery under a standardized agreement.
BACKGROUND
The General Services Department, Purchasing Division, is responsible for administering the citywide agreements and issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for landscape maintenance services.
