RESOLUTION - Of Intention to annex territory associated with the Conditional Use Permit No. 2015-191 Development, Annexation No. 15, to City of Fresno Community Facilities District No. 9 (southeast corner of North Brawley and West Herndon Avenues); and setting the public hearing for April 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. (Council District 2)

Adopt Resolution of Intention to annex territory associated with the Conditional Use Permit No. 2015-191 Development to City of Fresno Community Facilities District No. 9 ("CFD No. 9").
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The landowner has petitioned the City of Fresno ("City") to have the territory associated with the Conditional Use Permit No. 2015-191 Development annexed to CFD No. 9 to provide funding for the operation and reserves for maintenance ("Services") pertaining to the landscaping, trees and irrigation systems within the public street and trail easements, including the concrete curbs and gutters, valley gutter, sidewalks and curb ramps, asphalt concrete trail, expressway barrier fence, Brawley entrance traffic signal and street lighting as associated with this development. The cost for Services for these improvements totals $11,109.00 annually for fiscal year 2016-2017. Annexation No. 15 is located entirely in the Fresno City Limits. The Resolution of Intention begins the process, sets the required public hearing for April 13, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., and defines the steps required to complete the annexation.
