RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council approve a Consultant Services Agreement (Agreement) with NJ Associates Inc., dba NJA Architecture, of Lodi, California in the amount of $126,494, with a contingency amount not to exceed $20,000, for the design and preparation of construction documents for the Roessler Winery Renovation Project (Project) and authorize the Capital Projects Direct or designee to sign the Agreement on behalf of the City.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The City of Fresno Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services Department (PARCS) proposes to perform improvements to the Old Roessler Winery Building to transform the current warehouse layout into a multi-functional space.

Council approval of the Consultant Services Agreement between the City and NJA Architecture is recommended to facilitate the development of schematic designs and preliminary cost estimates. The Consultant Services Agreement for professional engineering services will be funded using Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 General Fund and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) appropriations.
