Title
Actions pertaining to grant agreements between the City of Fresno (City) and the Fresno Economic Opportunity Commission (FEOC)/Advance Peace:
1. Approve a second amendment to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant agreement between the City and the FEOC/Advance Peace to extend the grant term through December 31, 2024 to provide violence intervention and prevention services to at-risk youth.
2. Approve a one-year grant agreement between the City and FEOC/Advance Peace for an amount not to exceed $375,000 from the General Fund to provide violence intervention and prevention services to at-risk youth.
3. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the amendment and grant agreement on behalf of the City.

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve a second amendment to the ARPA grant agreement between the City and FEOC/Advance Peace and approve a one-year general funded grant agreement. Staff also recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute the grant documents on behalf of the City.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Staff are seeking approval to amend the ARPA grant agreement between the City and FEOC/Advance Peace awarded by Council on October 20, 2022 as part of the Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (VIPI) Year 1 grant awards. Staff are also seeking approval of a grant agreement to award $375,000 from the General Fund appropriated to FEOC/Advance Peace as part of the City's fiscal year 2024 budget adoption (VIPI Year 2 grant).
