RECOMMENDATIONS

Staff recommends City Council approve a consultant services agreement with Brooks Ransom Associates (Brooks), of Fresno, California for an amount not to exceed $67,500 with an additional $15,000 contingency, for design and construction support services for the historic Roessler Winery Building Project and authorize the Capital Projects Director or designee to execute the agreement on behalf of the City.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The City of Fresno Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services Department (PARCS) proposes to restore and preserve the historic nature of the Roessler Winery Building. The contract for professional engineering design services will be funded using FY24 departmental General Fund appropriations. Council approval of the consultant agreement between the City and Brooks is recommended to facilitate development of plans, cost estimates, and general construction contract documents necessary to complete the project.
