Actions pertaining to the 2026 Law Enforcement Specialized Unit Program:
1. ***RESOLUTION - Adopt a Resolution authorizing acceptance of $203,142 in grant funding from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services' Law Enforcement Specialized Unit Program for the Fresno Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit 2026 Law Enforcement Specialized Unit Program (Subject to Mayor's Veto)
2. ***RESOLUTION - Adopt the 43rd Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No. 2025-179 to appropriate $54,700 for the Police Department's Law Enforcement Specialized Unit Program grant in the department's Domestic Violence Unit (Requires Five Affirmative Votes) (Subject to Mayor's Veto)
3. Approve a Memorandum of Understanding with Marjaree Mason Center, Inc. for the acceptance in the amount to not exceed $142,872 for grant funding, a one-year term from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, from the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services' Law Enforcement Specialized Unit Program for the Fresno Police Department's Domestic Violence Unit 2026 Law Enforcement Specialized Unit Program
4. Authorize the Chief of Police to enter into Memorandum of Understanding with Marjaree Mason Center Inc., on behalf of the City of Fresno, subject to prior approval as to form by the City Attorney's Office.
