Actions pertaining to acceptance of grant funding from the Fresno-Madera Area Agency on Aging (FMAAA) (Districts 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7):
1. ***RESOLUTION - Approving a one-year agreement between the City of Fresno (City) and FMAAA in the amount of $124,000 for the Senior Hot Meals Program at six community centers and authorizing the City Manager or designee to execute the agreement and all related documents with FMAAA (Subject to Mayor's Veto)
2. *** RESOLUTION - Adopting the 12th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No. 2023-185 to allocate $124,000 for the Fresno-Madera Area Agency On Aging Agreement in the PARCS Department for Senior Hot Meals Programming. (Requires 5 Affirmative Votes) (Subject to Mayor's Veto)

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the resolution approving a one-year agreement between the City and FMAAA for $124,000 to support nutrition site management for the Senior Hot Meals Program at six community centers and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all related documents on behalf of the City. Staff also recommends that the City Council adopt the 12th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution (AAR) No. 2023-185 to appropriate $124,000 for the Senior Hot Meals Program at six community centers.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On an annual basis, the City partners with FMAAA to provide hot meals to seniors at six community centers. FMAAA provides reimbursement of up to $124,000 to the City to manage the distribution of hot meals and compliance with other program requirements.
