Actions pertaining to the 2025-2026 California Volunteers Youth Service Corps Grant:
1. ***RESOLUTION - Authorizing the acceptance of Grant Funding from California Volunteers Youth Service Corps Program Grant in the Amount of $2,608,201 for the One Fresno Youth Jobs Corps Program and Authorizing the City Manager or Designee to Sign All Necessary Implementing Documents (Subject to Mayor's Veto)
2. ***RESOLUTION - Adopting the 45th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No. 2025 - 179 to appropriate $2,608,201 for the new One Fresno Youth Jobs Corps Program from the 2025-2026 California Volunteers Youth Service Corps Grant (Requires 5 Affirmative Votes) (Subject to Mayor's Veto)
3. ***RESOLUTION - Adopting the 44th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution No. 2025 - 179 to appropriate $946,500 of carryover funding from the 2023-2024 #CaliforniansForAll Youth Service Corps grant (Requires 5 Affirmative Votes) (Subject to Mayor's Veto)

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the 2025-2026 California Volunteers Youth Service Corps Grant for the One Fresno Youth Jobs Corps Program ("Program"), adopt the 45th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution (AAR) No. 2025 - 179 appropriating $2,608,201 and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the Grant Agreement and sign all related documents on behalf of the City.
Additionally, approval of this item will adopt the 44th Amendment to the Annual Appropriations Resolution (AAR) No. 2026 - 179 to appropriate carryover funding not expended from the $3,186,147 awarded via the 2023-2024 #CaliforniansForAll Youth Service Corps awarded in FY 2025 approved by City Council on April 24, 2025.
