Actions pertaining to the Proposition 64 Health and Safety Grant Cohort 4 (Prop 64) Grant program:
Authorize the City Attorney’s Office to accept $1,440,788 in grant funding for the Proposition 64 Health and Safety Cohort 4 (Prop. 64) Grant awarded from the State of California, Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC).
***RESOLUTION – Authorizing acceptance of $1,440,788 in grant funding from the State of California BSCC for the Fresno City Attorney’s Office Prop 64 grant, and authorizing the City Attorney or designee to sign all necessary acceptance and implementing documents (Subject to Mayor’s Veto)
***RESOLUTION – Adopting the 16th Amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution (AAR) No. 2026-159 to appropriate $375,000 in Proposition 64 Public Health and Safety Cohort 4 Grant Program funding (Requires Five Affirmative votes) (Subject to Mayor’s Veto)

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends Council adopt the attached resolutions authorizing acceptance of $1,440,788 in grant funding from the State of California Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) for the Fresno City Attorney’s Office Prop 64 grant and authorizing the City Attorney or designee to sign all necessary acceptance and implementing documents and amending AAR No 2026-159 to appropriate $375,000 in Prop 64 grant funding into the FY 2027 budget for the City Attorney’s Office. The remaining funds will be utilized in future fiscal years.
