RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Council adopt a Categorical Exemption for Environmental Assessment Number P24-02896; and adopt a resolution approving the summary vacation of a portion of a public street easement on North Fresno Street, south of East McKenzie Street, as described in Exhibit "A" and as shown on Exhibit "B" of the attached resolution.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Christopher Neuman, Karen McCaffrey, Craig S Castro, Deborah P. Moffett, and Isabel Martinez of Fresno Community Hospital and Medical Center, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, are requesting the vacation of a portion of a public street easement on North Fresno Street, south of East McKenzie Street. The purpose of the vacation is to accommodate the redevelopment of an existing medical building to a new neuroscience institute, which proposes a new parking lot and the removal of an existing driveway approach where the proposed vacated area lies, see attached site map.
