EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

 

The Fresno/Clovis Community Media Authority consists of five members.  Two members are appointed by the Mayor.  One vacancy currently exists.  The Mayor’s Office is providing the appointment of Katie Botello (Resident of District 2) for consideration.

 

The Consolidated Mosquito Abatement District consists of 11 members.  One member is appointed by the Mayor.  One vacancy currently exists.  The Mayor’s Office is providing the appointment of Ward Scheitrum (Resident of District 7) for consideration. 

 

The Parks, Recreation, and Arts Commission consists of nine members appointed by the Mayor.  One vacancy currently exists.  One-third of the Commissioners must reside in an area defined as a “high needs neighborhood.” The Mayor’s Office is providing the appointment of Christina Soto for consideration.  Ms. Soto is a resident of District 3 and satisfies the “high needs neighborhood” requirement.
