1. Adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption per staff determination, pursuant to Section

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends that the City Council (Council) adopt a finding of Categorical Exemption per staff determination, pursuant to Section 15301(c) Class 1 of the CEQA Guidelines, and award a construction contract with Dave Christian Construction Co., Inc., of Fresno, in the amount of $275,306 as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for the E. Belgravia, S. Weller, S. Bardell, S. Clara and E. Tower Pavement Overlay and authorize the Public Works Director or designee to sign a the contract on behalf of the City.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The pavement on E. Belgravia, S. Weller, S. Bardell, S. Clara and E. Tower is in a state of disrepair. The proposed asphalt pavement reconstruction project will correct the existing deteriorated pavement condition and increase the life of the pavement while providing a smooth riding surface for motorists at a reasonable cost.
