RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends Council authorize the Chief of Police to enter a five-year agreement with Axon Enterprise, Inc. retroactive to July 1, 2024 in an amount not to exceed $18,368,264.68 to service and upgrade 800 body-worn cameras, TASERS, RMS and CAD systems, including unlimited video and data storage through Evidence.com, along with multiple optional software programs. The funding for the first year is included in the Police Department's FY 25 budget and will be from a combination of sources as shown below.
