RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends Council approve the First Amendment to the Consultant Agreement with Provost & Pritchard Engineering Group, Inc. expanding services to incorporate the Santa Fe Phase II ADA Parking Lot and Path of Travel Upgrades, for an increased contract amount of $177,500 plus a contingency amount not to exceed $15,000, revising the total contract amount to $310,000 plus a revised contingency amount not to exceed $30,000 and authorize the General Servies Director or designee to execute all related documents

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In accordance with the City of Fresno's ADA Transition Plan, the City must plan and remediate barriers for access. In the FY2021-2022 ADA Transition Plan update, the City added the Santa Fe Depot to the list of facilities with identified barriers for access. On June 20, 2024, Council approved a Consultant Services Agreement with Provost and Prichard for the Santa Fe Depot Phase I Exterior ADA Upgrades project.
