RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the City Council conduct the required public hearing and at the close of the hearing, adopt the attached resolution ordering the vacation of a portion of North Blythe Avenue, and a portion of a landscape and public utility easement, north of West Minarets Avenue, as shown in Exhibit "A" of the attached resolution.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The adjacent property owners (Jeffry S. Argyilan, Stan Rosenthal, and J. Todd Armas) to the affected area are requesting the vacation of this portion of North Blythe Avenue. The purpose of this vacation is to remove a sidewalk area within the right-of-way, and vacate a portion of a landscape and public utility easement that is not needed.
BACKGROUND
