Title
1. Authorize the Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services Department to accept a grant for $30,000 from the Cy Pres Grant Administrator CRT Settlement Fund for technology Improvements at the Frank H. Ball Neighborhood Center (District 3)

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends Council authorize the Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services (PARCS) Department to accept a grant for $30,000 to improve computer access and connectivity at the Frank H. Ball Neighborhood Center, authorize PARCS' Assistant Director or designee to sign all necessary documents to accept and implement the grant, subject to prior approval as to form by the City Attorney's Office, and adopt the 42nd amendment to the Annual Appropriations Resolution No. 2016-118 to appropriate $30,000 from the Cy Pres Grant Administrator CRT Settlement Fund for such projects.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
PARCS applied for and was awarded a $30,000 grant from the Cy Pres Grant Administrator CRT Settlement Fund to help improve computer access and connectivity at the Frank H. Ball Neighborhood Center in West Fresno. Now PARCS seeks Council approval to accept the grant funds and complete the 42nd amendment to the Annual Appropriates Resolution necessary to implement the proposed technology Improvements.
