RESOLUTION - Of Intention to annex Final Parcel Map No. 2012-06, Annexation No. 14, to City of Fresno Community Facilities District No. 9 (northwest corner of East Central and South Orange Avenues); and setting the public hearing for March 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. (Council District 3)

Adopt Resolution of Intention to annex Final Parcel Map No. 2012-06 to City of Fresno Community Facilities District No. 9 ("CFD No. 9").
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The landowner has petitioned the City of Fresno ("City") to have Final Parcel Map No. 2012-06 annexed to CFD No. 9 to provide funding for the operation and reserves for maintenance ("Services") pertaining to the above ground infrastructure, including concrete curbs and gutters, sidewalks and curb ramps, local industrial street paving, and street lighting. The cost for Services for these improvements totals $21,855.00 annually for fiscal year 2016-2017. Final Parcel Map No. 2012-06 is located entirely in the Fresno City Limits. The Resolution of Intention begins the process, sets the required public hearing for March 16, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., and defines the steps required to complete the annexation.
