Title
Documents related to the Belmont Avenue Widening Project from Clovis Avenue to Fowler Avenue (Council District 5):
1. Approve the acquisition of four street easements totaling 42,898 square feet of right-of-way from four properties (APN 310-111-13, 301-111-31 & 35 and 310-120-37) owned by Gallo Winery Corporation, in order to widen East Belmont Avenue between Clovis and Fowler Avenues, for a total compensation of $185,000.
2. Authorize the Public Works Director, or designee, to sign all documents necessary to complete the transactions.

RECOMMENDATION
Approve the acquisition of four street easements totaling 42,898 square feet of right-of-way from four properties (APN 310-111-13, 301-111-31 & 35 and 310-120-37) owned by Gallo Winery Corporation to widen East Belmont Avenue between Clovis and Fowler Avenues, for a total appraised value of $185,000, and authorize the Public Works Director, or his designee, to sign all documents necessary to complete the transaction.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The four properties are the last of nine properties required for the Belmont Avenue street widening project on the north side of East Belmont Avenue between Clovis and Fowler Avenues. The proposed project includes the addition of a second westbound travel lane along with the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Belmont and Sunnyside Avenues.
