Annual Fresno Revitalization Corporation (FRC) Meeting and Election of Officers (FRC action)

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the FRC conduct its annual election of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
BACKGROUND
Pursuant to Fresno Revitalization Corporation By-laws, a regular annual meeting is to be held each year in the month of June during which time the Board elects its officers.
The Board of Directors are the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Fresno. The (8) Directors are filled, ex-officio, by the City Councilmembers and Mayor. The officers are the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
The FRC generally meets in joint session with the Successor Agency therefore in furtherance of continuity and consistent with past practice, it is recommended that the Successor Agency’s current Chair, Oliver Baines, Vice Chair, Esmeralda Soria, and City Clerk, Yvonne Spence, serve in ex-officio capacity as the Chair, Vice Chair, and Clerk (respectively) of the FRC. Further that the current Successor Agency Finance Officer, Debra Barletta, serve as FRC Treasurer.
