RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of an agreement with Peters Engineering Group Inc., for $111,490 plus a contingency of $10,000, for the design and preparation of construction documents and provision of construction management support for the Central Avenue and Orange Avenue Intersection Improvements project, and authorize the Public Works Director or designee to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On November 21, 2013, the Fresno City Council adopted a resolution supporting various grant applications to the Fresno Council of Governments (COG) 2013 Call for Projects, including a project to improve the intersection of Central Avenue and Orange Avenue. Staff recommends that the Council approve an agreement with Peters Engineering Group Inc., in the amount of $111,490, and a contingency amount not to exceed $10,000, for the design and preparation of construction documents and to provide construction support for the Central Avenue and Orange Avenue Intersection Improvements project and authorize the Public Works Director or designee to execute the standardized Agreement on behalf of the City of Fresno.
