RESOLUTION - Of Intention to annex the territory associated the development of Assessor's Parcel Numbers 480-213-13, 14, and 15 (Development Permit Application No. 2016-111) as Annexation No. 19 to the City of Fresno Community Facilities District No. 9 and to authorize the levy of special taxes (northwest corner of East Church and South Chestnut Avenues) (Council District 5)

RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution of Intention to annex the territory associated the Development Permit Application No. 2016-111 as Annexation No. 19 to City of Fresno Community Facilities District No. 9 ("CFD No. 9").
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The landowner has petitioned the City of Fresno ("City") to have the territory associated with the development of Assessor's Parcel Numbers 480-213-13, 14, and 15 annexed to CFD No. 9 to provide funding for the operation and reserves for maintenance ("Services") pertaining to certain required public improvements. These improvements include the concrete curb and gutter, curb ramps, sidewalk and median capping, and street lighting associated with this development. The cost for Services for these improvements totals $710.00 annually for fiscal year 2017-2018. Assessor's Parcel Numbers 480-213-13, 14, and 15 are located entirely in the Fresno City Limits. The Resolution of Intention begins the process, sets the required public hearing for September 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., and defines the steps required to complete the annexation.
