RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends Council approve the award of a cooperative purchase agreement to Ruckstell Sales of Fresno, California, for the purchase of eleven Peterbilt side-loading refuse trucks in the amount of $3,973,500.

The Fleet Management Division recommends this purchase based on the age and mileage of the trucks identified for replacement. The units would be purchased through a competitively solicited cooperative procurement process administered by the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA).
