Title
Actions pertaining to Inspiration Park
1. Authorize Amendment 2 to the contract between City of Fresno [as a service provider] and Fresno-Madera Agency on Aging (FMAAA) to add Inspiration Park located in Council District 1 as a Parks, After School, Recreation and Community Services (PARCS) Senior Hot Meals (SHM) site including the provision of $68,000 of additional funding.
2. ***RESOLUTION - 53rd amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution (AAR) No. 2017-165 appropriating $68,000 from FMAAA to fund the expansion of the SHM Program at Inspiration Park. (Requires 5 affirmative votes) (Subject to Mayor's veto)

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council: (1) approve Amendment 2 between the City of Fresno PARCS and FMAAA; and, (2) adopt the 53rd amendment to the Annual Appropriation Resolution (AAR) No. 2017-165 to appropriate $68,000 from FMAAA to add Inspiration Park located in District 1 as the seventh SHM site; and, (3) authorize the PARCS Director to sign all related documents. The Amendment 2 contract resources will go towards funding the day to day operation and the necessary start up equipment to operate the Inspiration Park SHM Program.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
PARCS requested funding resources from FMAAA to open Inspiration Park as the seventh SHM Program site. In October of 2017, the FMAAA Board approved FMAAA staff's recommendation to provide $68,000 in funding for site management, supplies and equipment, and meals for Inspiration Park.
