EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) has agreed to reimburse the City of Fresno for the full cost, salary and benefits, of a Fresno Police Officer who has been elected to the PORAC Board of Directors, effective January 1 through December 31, 2019.  While the officer is fulfilling the duties of the PORAC Board, City Council’s adoption of the PAR and AAR will enable the Department to backfill the position and continue its current level of public safety.
