Approve a Ninth Amendment to Reimbursement Agreement No. HSR 11-29 with the California High Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA), for the purposes of extending the contract end date by 36 months to December 31, 2022, and increasing the agreement amount by $508,000 for a total of $1,929,000 (Council Districts 1, 2, & 3).

RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends the Council authorize the Public Works Director or his designee to execute the Ninth Amendment to the California High Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) Reimbursement Agreement No. HSR 11-29 to extend the contract term by 36 months to December 31, 2022 and increase the agreement amount by $508,000 (the Ninth Amendment); and authorize the Public Works Director to execute the amendment on behalf of the City of Fresno.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Ninth Amendment will extend the term of CHSRA Reimbursement Agreement No. HSR 11-29 (the Agreement) by 36 months, with the new contract end date of December 31, 2022, and will increase the total contract amount by $508,000 to $1,929,000. The amendment will provide for continued reimbursement for the cost of staff services to continue working on new and existing cooperative agreements and right of way functions required for the High Speed Rail program. Staff will be preparing and reviewing legal descriptions, mapping for Right of Entry, Joint Use Agreements (JUA), Consent for Common Use Agreements (CCUA), Vacations, and dedication packages.
