Title
Approve the Third Amendment to the Professional Consultant Services Agreement with Provost & Pritchard Engineering Group, Inc., to extend the Agreement from December 30, 2019, to June 30, 2020, to provide continued engineering support during construction of the Recycled Water Transmission Main along Madison Avenue, Valentine Avenue, Whitesbridge Avenue, and Brawley Avenue, with no change to the previously authorized contract amount of $438,744 (Council District 3 and Fresno County).

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council approve a Third Amendment to the Consultant Services Agreement with Provost & Pritchard Engineering Group, Inc. (Provost & Pritchard), to extend the duration of the agreement to June 30, 2020, for the Recycled Water Transmission Main along Madison Avenue, Valentine Avenue, Whitesbridge Avenue, and Brawley Avenue (Project).
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Through a competitive selection process Provost & Pritchard was awarded a consultant services contract to provide engineering design, bidding support, and construction support for the Recycled Water Transmission Main along Madison, Valentine, Whitesbridge, and Brawley Avenues. The Third Amendment to the Agreement is for a time extension to provide continued engineering support during construction as made necessary by delays during the design process, which ultimately pushed the award of a construction contract, and activities out further than anticipated.
