RECOMMENDATIONS

Staff recommends that City Council approve the First Amendment to Professional Consultant Services Agreement (Agreement), to extend the duration of the Agreement from December 20, 2019 to November 1, 2020, for the preparation of plans and specifications for the construction of the Congo Alley Water Main Replacement Project (Project), and authorize the Director of Public Utilities, or designee, to sign the Amendment on behalf of the City of Fresno (City).

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On December 20, 2018, the City entered into an Agreement with Consultant in the amount of $35,800 for the preparation of plans and specifications for construction of the Project. Due to the lengthy amount of time expended to secure a key pipeline easement, the Agreement needs to be extended to retain the Consultant's services through the completion of the project. This Amendment will extend the Agreement completion date to November 1, 2020. The current contract amount of $35,800 will remain the same with this Amendment.
