RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council approve a Third Amendment to the Program Year 2018 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Subrecipient Agreement between the City of Fresno (City) and Habitat for Humanity Fresno, Inc. (Habitat) for Habitat's Home Repair Programs to increase funding by $4,026 for a total of $219,026 and extend the term of the Agreement from January 22, 2020, to May 31, 2020.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On November 19, 2018, the City entered into a CDBG Subrecipient Agreement with Habitat for its Home Repair Programs (Agreement). Due to projects pending repairs, Habitat is requesting a third and final amendment to extend the term of the agreement from January 22, 2020, to May 31, 2020, and to increase funding from $215,000 to $219,026. The $4,026 increase will be covered by project savings in Habitat's Senior Paint Program. The Third Amendment will allow Habitat to complete pending repair projects and expend the balance of funds.

BACKGROUND

On November 19, 2018, the City entered into an Agreement with Habitat to implement home repair programs for low-income owner-occupied households. Habitat offered three types of rehabilitation programs under the Agreement:
